Well-proportioned notes of chilies, bell peppers, onion, cumin and smoked paprika create a sauce thats equally delicious on beef or chicken.

Label Directions:

YOU WILL NEED: 1 small onion, thinly sliced 1 small green bell pepper, sliced 1 small red bell pepper, sliced 1 pound boneless chicken or trimmed steak, sliced into strips 3 tbsp oil 1 pouch Simply Organic Fajita Simmer Sauce DIRECTIONS: 1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and peppers. Cook until golden and crisp-tender, stirring occasionally, about 3 minutes. Remove to a plate. 2. Add 2 tbsp oil and the chicken or steak. Cook until golden, stirring occasionally, about 4 minutes. 3. Add cooked vegetables and sauce to skillet. Mix until thoroughly coated and heat to a simmer. Stir until meat is cooked through. Serve in warm tortillas. CHEF SUGGESTS: If desired, serve with salsa, sour cream, guacamole or cheese. Squeeze fresh lime over fajitas for an added fresh note.
